quarterly report - posts 1 to 24

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

I had an idea last week that it would be a good idea for me to do a rundown of everything I have covered every 25 points. I think it will help to see the big picture because I do move from topic to topic. Below you can find a link to every post I have written with some blurbs as to what the gist of the post was. I hope this helps.

To start I attacked the topic of money with a number of posts exploring the history of money, what money really is and to some extent how it is used to control us and the world. I will continue to discuss the topic from time to time:
The Illusion That is Money
Debt = Slavery
Not a Great Picture
Thoughts on Money

I introduced the term New World Order and One World Government. If they can’t tell us what they are doing and why they are doing it, I tend to believe it is not in our best interest.

Let’s Get This Out of The Way
One Of The Most Frightening Things I’ve Read In a While

I brushed on music briefly sharing a song by Rage Against the Machine and Matthew Good:

Matthew Good - Human Being and Human Doing
Blue Skies Over Badlands

I introduced David Icke a great speaker on the way the world works - more to come on him later:
Meet David Icke

I talked about the Georgia Guidestones - the ten commandments for the new age, which sees over 5 billion people disappearing if they are to be followed:
The Georgia Guidestones

I started a series on The 10 Commandments reverse engineering the results of a world being obedient to them (obedient isn’t a bad word by the way). I will be concluding that series over the next five posts:
The Real Tem Commandments - Coveting
Ten Commandment - False Witness
Ten Commandment - Stealing

Ten Commandment - Adultery
Ten Commandment - Killing

I gave a brief word about belief verses non-belief based solely on the proof argument:
Seeing Isn’t Believing - A Shout Out to Atheists

I provided a link to a great site. Seriously, stop watching so much TV and watch one of these a week:
Free Documentaries

I talked about Zeitgeist the movie and it’s attack on Christianity:
Seen Zeitgeist? Listen to This…
My Reaction to Zeitgeist

That pretty well covers the first 24 posts at A Little Candle. Thanks for reading and following along. I am surprised how much time being a dad takes and I understand sometimes posts are few and far between. I want to get more frequent with this as it is something I am passionate about. But in the mean time if your waiting for a post use the internet and do some research for yourself. There is literally a universe of information out there. Educate yourself, thats what I am doing… I just found myself at a point were I felt convicted to share with others. I realized there is a lot of information going on with a HUGE piece of the message missing. God is real and longs for you to come home. The world is headed for major conflict. It’s in the Bible, it’s going to happen regardless of what we do. I’m not trying to be a doom and gloom preacher, I just want to point to the light that is Jesus Christ so more people don’t fall to Satan’s deception. I hope that doesn’t weird anyone out… I think the case will get stronger the more I write, stick with it.

my reaction to zeitgeist

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

In an effort to keep this post to a reasonable length I am going to focus on the first third of the movie which is titled “The Greatest Story Ever Told”. The title is intended in jest towards the Christian “story”. Below you will find a list of counter arguments and issues (Some my own, some repeated from the sermons I provided in the last post)that I have with what the narrator says or implies.

Again I will state the best rebuttal is found in the two sermons from the last post. Please click here if you would like to check them out. Here are the five points I would like to focus on.

Why focus on only Christianity?
This is by far the biggest one for me, hence I will make it first. The movie claims that religion is part of the systems of control that the secret group of elites use to control the masses. To put it simply if religion is a form of control for the masses why did the movie only attack Christianity? There are many religions out there. Some of the main ones are Islam, Hindu, Buddhism, Judaism, Scientology and Shinto to name a few. Lets not forget the approximately 16% of the world’s population that is non religious all-together. If the film was interested in being thorough it would have needed to spend a little portion of time to ruin the foundation of all those religions, but it didn’t. It is my opinion that the film only wanted to attack the one and only true religion. I have seen this documentary about 5 or 6 times now and I believe very strongly that the films motive is to mix truth with untruth in order to deceive millions.

Jesus is not a means of control
Either the film is lying or the writers did not do their homework. I’ll make a strong argument that it is the probably just the first of the two, but maybe both. If the writers knew anything about Jesus it would be blatantly obvious that Jesus is not a means of control but rather a means of freedom. As a quick snap shot of what Jesus promotes is loving your neighbour as yourself, helping those in need, not being slave to materialism, keeping desires for money and wealth at a distance, refuse violence and control your temper and serve God with every ounce of your being. The results of which would be a drastically changed world. If you understand one thing  understand this; the makers of the film have just thrown a bunch of rocks into your pond to muddy the waters and cloud your mind. The fact of the matter is that if right at this very second everyone in the world decided to stop what they were doing and live a life like Christ the world would be instantly transformed and all the power that “they” have worked to gain would be lost. That is why “they” work so hard to keep your attention away from this truth. The power “they” have is power we give away. It wouldn’t take a single gun or fist being raised to change the world, just a life like Christ has asked us to live, modeled after his example. That’s one reason what God is so awesome.

Dates of another god(s) as being the 25th of December
To me this is a ridiculous argument. Ancient Egypt didn’t have a calendar like we have today, therefore making that link is absolutely preposterous. I will admit that its a heavy argument in favor of what the film is passing off as truth but it simply is not. Here is a link to a brief history about the calendar. If the film was trying to make a link to the winter solstice then it missed with that as well as solstice dates occur on the 21 of December, sometimes on the 22nd. Lastly the most recent changes to the calendar happened in 1582 when Pope Gregory XIII declared the Gregorian calendar to be the new and recognized calendar. So to think through time that all these gods shared the same birth date as Christ is not a solid argument. Plus to be entirely transparent we don’t even know the exact date Christ was born, that is just the day it is recognized, or should I say commercialized.

There is a point in the year where the sun would not move for three days before rising again
I find this to be an interesting point. After some research I could not come up with anything to support this point. What I do know is that at the arctic poles they experience abnormal day and night times through out the year. That’s not to say what the film presents is untrue. but consider this; where in the world does that phenomenon occur and does it occur where the majority of people lived in the Egyptian times? Well Egypt isn’t very close to either pole so to me it stands to reason that this portion of the story is not accurate either.

Crown of thorns =  sun rays
To me that was a comment that is reaching. I think the writers just got greedy here and thought they were being clever. Fail.

To conclude I feel this first third of the movie is out of line with the other two thirds. It doesn’t really go onto say how religion really fits into the scheme of control. Everything else leads into other arguments where as religion is just set up as a pinata, they take a few swings at it blindfolded then move on.

Towards the end of the movie the narrator gets onto the topic of micro chipping the population of the earth for total control… might be helpful if they bothered to mention this piece of Bible scripture:

He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. Revelation 13:16-17

It seems to me God was the first one to warn us about being marked and controlled. If you want the truth, go to the word of God. It’s the only place you’ll find it. Those that are working to bring about your distruction will lie to you. The one trying to save you will tell you the truth.

run in your wheel little hamster and some pellets are your reward

run in your wheel little hamster and some pellets are your reward

This post is a follow up to the meet david icke post I added last week. I have listened to him speak in that video a number of times and have been thinking at length about his message and I have come to a conclusion that kind of makes my head hurt. I say that because there is an obvious truth that just doesn’t seem to make sense because we have been made to believe in the financial system all of our lives… but there it is, an ugly truth that I can’t ignore.

In the video David says a couple things that I will have to re-state here to build a frame work for my conclusion. If you want to see the video click here.

  1. He says that money only exists in theory. It has not, does not and will never exsist.
  2. Money only exists in theory as digits on a computer screen.
  3. When money is borrowed the bank does nothing more than type new money into a computer.
  4. The only difference between an economic boom or bust is the amount of “dollars” that are allowed to be in exsistance.
  5. People starve because they don’t have enough digits on a screen.

My thoughts on money
So to build on what Mr.Icke says, the bank is in the business of lending out “nothing” (money). Once we have been loaned our “nothing” we have to pay them back their nothing plus a little extra “nothing” (interest). Is this not obsured!? How is that a business? It’s all a bunch of… nothing. So to me all that nothing cancels itself out and we have to see a bigger picture here. There has to be be something else the bank wants, and is getting otherwise it wouldn’t still be in business. All that nothing is merely slight of hand. What are you or I doing to obtain all of our “nothing”? The simple answer is working. We all work for “nothing”. Well that’s a silly statement because we all work to be paid so we can eat and have a place to live, buy clothes and a car and maybe some other stuff we can’t afford, but heck, why not borrow some nothing? However we now have to work a little harder to get some extra nothing.

No business creates nothing to make nothing in return so there is the hidden function of bank/money in plain site. This really builds on a thought I had a couple months ago that money is not really money at all but is in fact permission. If you have money you have permission to eat, permission to get clothes or permission to have a place to stay. If your lucky you have enough permission to have some fun now and then. At the end of the day we are all completely dependant on money and banks therefore money has created a system of slaves. Run in your wheel little hamster and every so often you’ll get some pellets. At the end of the day he who controls money controls all. Maybe that explains this quote by a Rothschild (last name of a prominent banking family throughout history).

Give me control of a nation’s money and I care not who makes the laws.
Mayer Amschel Rothschild - click here to learn about him

Does this thought not make you feel ill? There is a group of men that literally control the world through money and that control affects every single one of us.

The Bible on Money
The Bible talks about money more than any other topic. Click here to view a page of search results from Biblegateway when using the word money as the search criteria. I’ve pulled some of the highlights and listed them below. (Note that the search was ran only for the word money. Search taxes, wages, salary, gold, silver and so on) I believe God has a good handle on knowing what we are capable of and where our tendencies will lead us. That is why he makes such a great effort to both warn and educate us in this area.

1 Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

2 Timothy 3:2
People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,

Luke 16:13
No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.

Psalm 15:5
who lends his money without usury and does not accept a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things will never be shaken. (usury meaning charging interest on loans)

Proverbs 17:16
Of what use is money in the hand of a fool, since he has no desire to get wisdom?

Ecclesiastes 5:10
Whoever loves money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income. This too is meaningless.

Proverbs 22:7
The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.

I am still working on a follow up to the Zeitgesit post. Stay tuned.

seen zeitgeist? listen to this…

Tuesday, October 6th, 2009

This week a couple people approached me about the documentary film Zeitgeist. It was the first time they had seen it and they were concerned about the material presented in the film. That movie was by far not new for me and I am quite well versed with the content contained within.

The movie is a three part documentary which covers aspects of religion, government, banking, war and the desire for totalitarian control by a group of elites that wish to rule the world. The primary concerns for these people surrounded the first third of the movie which, to put mildly, is an unbridled assault on Christianity. I’ve heard that this section of this movie has really challenged people and in some cases all-in-all destroyed their faith. If you have seen this movie and had your faith challenged or ruined… or your a person that has always been a non-believer and have looked to this film as final proof for your “soul” to be at peace your non-belief, you need the two audio links below.

They are two sermons that were delivered by Bruxy Cavey, lead pastor of The Meeting House Church. They are in response to the Zeitgeist movie and man-o-man, does he put that film in its place, at least the first third anyway. It’s a must listen, whether you’ve seen the film or not.

Zeitgeist Sermons
Sermon OneSermon Two

I really do recommend you watch the documentary…

Zeitgeist Movie
Part OnePart TwoPart Three

My opinion of the film
To focus on the first third of the film, my main question would be why does it only focus on Christianity? The film spends a third of it’s time working to discredit only one religion. If all religions are part of a system of control it would stand to reason that the film would need to inform us and discredit all organized religion. Buddha, Allah, Krishna and so on, not only Jesus and the Christian church.

What I think this film aims to do is to scare people and to kill hope. The last two thirds of the film focuses on the history of wars, government and banking painting a picture of lies, manipulation and deceit. It is all orchestrated into one motive - a one world government and totalitarianism at the hands of a small group that rule a micro chipped population of people. So to summarize the movie delivers a “you’re screwed” message.

Well, this isn’t true…

I am short of time at the moment so I have to call it a rap here. Please watch the films, listen to the sermons, leave some comments. I will expand upon this in my next post, I may re-watch the documentary and get in depth on the subject. Following that I want to finish the second half of a series I started a while back on the ten commandments. Bookmark this site, subscribe to the RSS feed… stay tuned… do your won research… message me… this will only get more interesting as we go.

meet david icke

Tuesday, October 6th, 2009

David Icke is a very interesting person. I first heard of him in a documentary I watched maybe a year ago. There were some clips through out the video of him speaking and I found what he was saying quite compelling. So I researched the documentary and found out his name… ran a search on google and youtube and to my amazement I found tons of stuff. Books, lectures, videos… tons of content. I was surprised I had not heard of him before. I’ll let you get to know him through the video below which is only about 8 minutes long. He is speaking about what money actually is… he is a great speaker, always logical and builds in an easy to follow way.

It is worth me noting that he is not without contreversy in some circles for some of the topics he covers. He has spoken quite ill of organized religion in that he sews it into the systems of control as being corrupt and a lie to manipulate people. While I am sure some of that is true in some areas I think he misses the boat in a lot of others. I only mention this if you take the time to do some research on him because it could come across as though I support someone in opposition to my beliefs. The simple root of the matter is that the teachings of Jesus Christ defeats every single enemy or force that he speaks of as being against us. Anyway, I found that video interesting today and wanted to share it… what do you think?

seeing isn’t believing - a shout out to atheists

not everything needs to be seen with the eyes

not everything needs to be seen with the eyes

A while ago I was surfing around on youtube doing some searches and through various related video links I ended up discovering a youtube show called “The Atheist Experience“. I watched a number of videos and was thoroughly frustrated by what I saw and heard. The hosts of the show are quite rude and smug, often interrupting a caller with a mute button to make their point if they feel the are being spoken over, while having no problem talking over the caller who has no mute button. That aside I want to point out an over lying message that I heard over and over again. No proof, where is your proof, you can’t prove that and so on.

So one night I was quite frustrated by what I had heard and was thinking to myself what could I say to an atheist that would deflate that argument. During some quite time in prayer the following came to me;

Just because you can’t see something does not mean it’s not there. Consider this; one hundred years ago you could have tried to explain to someone what an atom is and people would have thought of you as a crazy person. You could have pointed to a table and said “this table is made up of millions of tiny elements held together by electric charges making it solid.” That kind of truth would have been mocked because it could not be seen. The same applies for Christ. We cannot see him physically, but he is there. In the mean time, like the atom could be seen in the form of a table, we can see the form of Christ in his church which is made of millions of people held together by his spirit making it solid. This is a truth that should not be mocked because we have been promised in time that Christ will be revealed and seen with the eye, but until that day “we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18

As an extension of that line of thinking
There was a time when people thought the world was flat. It was common knowledge and just accepted as the way the world was. Then some grumblings started to emerge about the possibility of the world not being flat, but in fact was round. Anyone who entertained that idea as a possibility was mocked as a lunatic. Well here we are today knowing the world if round because it has been proven so. The idea here is that not everything that is true or real has been proven or revealed… yet. So please consider this when dismissing the person of Jesus or disregarding God as an invention of man. One day all will be revealed, which side of the debate would you like to find yourself on when that day does come?

A couple good Bible verses to end with
It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. Psalms 118:8

See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ. Colossians 2:8

Let no person shake your faith. Do not let any one pressure you to walk away from your faith if you have it. Let no person stand in your way from exploring it if it’s new to you or calling you to explore it for yourself.

one of the most frightening things i’ve read in a while

Monday, October 5th, 2009

Last week this story was sent to me by a co-worker. The snap shot synopsis is that Massachusetts has passed a law forcing is residents to get the swine flu/h1n1 vaccination. I think that is a very bad step in an incredibly dangerous direction from a human rights standpoint. Sure, on the outside the reasons seem good in nature but lately I have become a bit of a skeptic on the  needles and vaccines front. Personally I haven’t had a flu shot for 5 winter running and I am yet to have the flu once in that time. Many people around me that have gotten the shot have battled some of the toughest sicknesses I’ve seen.

There is a lot of contreversy surrounding all the vaccines that we are told we need. Check out the links below:
