Welcome to alittlecandle.com. However you came to find my site I am glad your here. The ten second version of what this site is about is as follows:

A little candle is a blog dedicated to my views on faith and world events that are inescapibly tied together moving humanity toward a conclusion that most people are not aware of. It is my desire to help people see the world differently and how practical, essential and real Christianity is.

There are things happening in this world that we are not told and if it wasn’t for the miracle of the internet, they would never be shared. This blog will contain things in the realm of news, politics, finance, war, social human issues, religion and Jesus Christ (those last two are not the same thing).

A Word About Credibility
In working on this blog I recognize that I have a large responsibility. I need to do my best to maintain integrty through being responsible with what I post. This day in age I think it is incredibly hard to come by accurate information. How can we possibly tell these days when we are getting reliable and accurate information? Nearly everything we read and take in is going to have some slant to it in favour of the source of that very information.

My Promise
Before I even get started I will aknowledge that I am going to struggle with that very principle. My promise to readers of this site is that when I am stating something as fact I will do my best to back it up with sources and refrences. If something is just sheer conjecture or my opinion I will state so. I want to run a site of integrity but please also understand that I am very passionate about what I am communicating. I want others to see the true condition of the world we are living in and ultimately to see the Bible is true and contains a solution for every problem we face.

Ettiquite on Commenting
With all that said I know some of the posts to come are of a touchy subject matter for many people. I encourage feedback and comments. However, I am going to state firmly here and now that I will not tolerate verbal abuse on this site. Comments containing derogatory remarks to myself or others on the message boards will NOT be posted. If you wish to make a counter claim or a rebuttle to something I encourage that, but please do so in a thoughtful and respectful manner. Anything that I deem too negative will not be approved to be posted. Now let me be clear, I don’t mind being challenged, but do so respectfully.

Secondly I am not perfect, I may make a spelling mistake or get something wrong grammatically but I will not accept any comments that say things to the effect “well you can’t even spell such and such so what do you know”. I see that all the time on other blogs and it will not be tolerated here. Make a valid arguent or comment if you want to be part of the discussions.
