On the heels of the Zeitgeist movies an entire movement has been created. A false movement. The infamous documentary Zeitgeist and many other writers boldy claims that Jesus never existed and was merely a borrowed figure created out of other mythological pagan religions. Well today’s post if going to destroy that movement. Please watch the documentary contained in this post. It will help you see that the idea that Jesus never existed is a very new idea and one that is completely false.

Thursday, November 11th, 2010I have brought up the film Zeitgeist numerous times since the inception of this blog. I have done so because of the great impact of that documentary on so many people. It has shaken the faith of many Christians and put off many people from even considering it as truth. I came across this documentary, Zeitgeist Refuted, on youtube this week and it is great. If you have watched Zeitgeist and took it at its word you need to watch this film and give what is presented here equal oppertunity to grow in your mind and heart.

twenty minutes you can’t pass on…
Tuesday, September 28th, 2010Last week I came across for the first time a new version on the Zeitgeist documentary. This one is titled Zeitgeist Addendum. It is riveting. If you can give this documentary twenty minutes of your time I guarantee you will end up watching the entire thing.
There are some glaring differences between these two which to me are very important. This edition paints a picture of hope at the end where as the previous painted a picture of doom. One major similarity is the films stance against religion. This one however made a point of mentioning all the major religions this time around. In the first version it only attacked Christianity, which to me still sticks out in my mind as the true motive of the film.
As said before in reaction to the first Zeitgeist I believe that this film has a dark purpose. I believe that the film is a mix of truth and non-truth. It plays on very emotional subjects to stir reactions of passion and anger. But what many viewers of this film will not know is that the very teachings of Christ will undo the entire “system” that the film repeatedly speaks about.

Tuesday, October 6th, 2009This week a couple people approached me about the documentary film Zeitgeist. It was the first time they had seen it and they were concerned about the material presented in the film. That movie was by far not new for me and I am quite well versed with the content contained within.
The movie is a three part documentary which covers aspects of religion, government, banking, war and the desire for totalitarian control by a group of elites that wish to rule the world. The primary concerns for these people surrounded the first third of the movie which, to put mildly, is an unbridled assault on Christianity. I’ve heard that this section of this movie has really challenged people and in some cases all-in-all destroyed their faith. If you have seen this movie and had your faith challenged or ruined… or your a person that has always been a non-believer and have looked to this film as final proof for your “soul” to be at peace your non-belief, you need the two audio links below.
They are two sermons that were delivered by Bruxy Cavey, lead pastor of The Meeting House Church. They are in response to the Zeitgeist movie and man-o-man, does he put that film in its place, at least the first third anyway. It’s a must listen, whether you’ve seen the film or not.

My opinion of the film
To focus on the first third of the film, my main question would be why does it only focus on Christianity? The film spends a third of it’s time working to discredit only one religion. If all religions are part of a system of control it would stand to reason that the film would need to inform us and discredit all organized religion. Buddha, Allah, Krishna and so on, not only Jesus and the Christian church.
What I think this film aims to do is to scare people and to kill hope. The last two thirds of the film focuses on the history of wars, government and banking painting a picture of lies, manipulation and deceit. It is all orchestrated into one motive – a one world government and totalitarianism at the hands of a small group that rule a micro chipped population of people. So to summarize the movie delivers a “you’re screwed” message.
Well, this isn’t true…
